Excuse the low light picture, but I just wanted to thank @run_corinne_run for this shirt she sent for my birthday! It reads: Coffee Peloton Mom Repeat. I LOVE it! It was such a surprise today. I’m thankful it came with a gift note because when I first opened it, I worried that I melatonin ordered something. 😂 It’s perfect and I love it. Thank you!

This is also my set up with my #SoleF85. I have my iPad on the tablet holder with my Peloton run. I also press start on my phone at the same time so it connects to my Watch and records mileage. I can mirror the iPad on the touchscreen on my treadmill, but I like to use the iPad so I can wear my AirPods Pro and not hear the boys in the game room. Hooray for noise canceling!

I ran 2.04 with @rebeccakennedynyc tonight. She was thanking teachers, which HECK YEAH. Also, best line: “Why am I wearing white eyeliner? Because it looks cool!” Said every teen in the LATE NINETEEN HUNDREDS. I didn’t like that part. I almost tripped. 😂

Today’s flower highlight is one I didn’t buy. My parents got me a twisty tree hibiscus with these multicolored blossoms. They look yellow when they’re closed and then open up to this gorgeousness. So excited to be cool like my dad and have my very own twisty tree. 😍

I know I said I would share more pics of the flower garden and planters this year, but this is from my neighbor’s yard. Her lilacs are in bloom. She passed away very suddenly, right before Thanksgiving. Her family was here dealing with the stuff of house selling this past weekend. She was the kindest old lady. We are hopeful that our new neighbor will being years of neighborly joy… and that maybe he’ll let me cut some lilacs when they bloom.

Everything is planted. My right arm will be sore tomorrow. I’ll share more over the next week, but this is my favorite piece for this year. I got the idea from @mcdanielsgreenhouse. The shell is mine (from Emerald Isle one of these years). The string of pearls and sugar shimmer are also from McDaniel’s. The other succulent in this piece is from @monarchmercantileohio. Just a heads up: When you have kids two years apart and they both love track, you’ll have four track meets a week for two years. I wouldn’t change it for the world. (Well, I would get rid of my Raynaud’s syndrome so my fingers and toes stopped hurting.) Otherwise, go Bobcats! 💙🐾

We went mushroom hunting today and I found exactly

We went mushroom hunting today and I found exactly one (1) morel. I found a bunch of other fungi, but only one of these guys. It’s my first morel ever. I gasped VERY LOUDLY and then decided that it’s a good thing you don’t have to be quiet to hunt mushrooms.
